Fuerteventura is het windrigste Canarische eiland — en dat is een cadeautje voor kitesurfers, windsurfers en fotografen. De stranden van Corralejo in het noorden, Sotavento aan de ooskaant en de Jandia-lagune zijn de hotspots. Fotografisch is Fuerteventura het eiland van contrasten: sneeuwwit zand, turquoise lagunes en bruine lavavlaktes achter het strand. Actiefotografie (kitesurfers, golfsurfers) vraagt een snelle autofocus met onderwerp-tracking: de Nikon Z30 (€659, subject tracking, 11 fps continuous shooting) is de realistische keuze.
